Soren holds appointments in the Department of Economics and the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics. His research spans a broad range of topics in energy and environmental economics with a current focus on emerging markets for biofuels. He previously served on the staff of the President's Council of Economic Advisers in 2005-2006 and at Resources for the Future prior to beginning his graduate studies.
