Dr Rui Benfica is a Poverty Economist with the World Bank mission in Mozambique. This presentation is developed from earlier analysis conducted as an MSU Visiting Specialist undertaking joint research with the Directorate of Economics and the Office for Commercial Agriculture Promotion of the former Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
