Within the Adobe Acrobat software, go to the File/Print... menu. This dialog offers an option to automatically adjust the size of the page. Depending on what version of Acrobat you have, the option may be called Shrink to Fit, Fit to Page, or Shrink oversized pages to paper size. This option allows Acrobat to adjust the size of the A4 formatted page to print on 8.5 x 11 paper. Once you have checked the box, you may then click on OK to print.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat: You must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader software in order to view or print the pdf document. This software is available free of charge and you can download it from the Adobe website.
