Food Security Group: Research, Policy Dialogue, Training Projects
The Food Security Group is a team of faculty members in the Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics Department of Michigan State University whose activities focus on issues of food security, food policy, and general agricultural development, primarily in Africa. The lead project in the FSG portfolio is the Food Security III Cooperative Agreement. This agreement is between the US Agency for International Development, EGAT/AGR Bureau cooperating closely with Africa/SD Bureau, USAID African Field Missions and the MSU Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics.
